Wompat baby carriers are easy to use and the weight of the child is spread evenly over your hips and shoulders. A full buckle carrier is often more convenient outdoors: you don't have to worry about getting your baby wrap dirty on the ground.

Wompat baby carriers are made in EU (Finland) by handwork. We use durable, high quality and safe fabrics. The shoulder straps and waist bands are made from soft corduroy or cotton twill. The carrier body is made from firm cotton fabrics. For the front side of the body panel and sleep hood we have available a wide collection of Girasol and Vanamo woven wraps and Marimekko fabrics.

Wompat carrier is ergonomic for you and your baby. The high panel part gives support to baby's back and neck. We have also added soft padding under baby's legs which prevents any pressure to your baby's thighs. The lower part of the panel creates a pouch for baby's bottoms and she will easily take up an ergonomic frog leg position. A cute sleep hood supports baby's head while taking a nap. We offer four sizes of Wompat carrier: baby, medium, toddler and pre-school. The minimum weight limit is 3.5 kg (7 lbs) and the maximum weight is 20 kg (45 lbs). The age and size recommendations are average estimations. If you can't decide between two sizes, please think about when do you need it the most: do you need the carrier right now or maybe a little later. If you need it now, the smaller size is probably right for you. But if you want to be able to use the carrier as long as possible, then you might want to choose a bigger size. The hight of the body is measured in the middle of the carrier from the seam of waist band to the seam of hood. The width of the body is measured a few centimeters above the seam of waist (in the middle of the "legs out padding"). There can be some variation in these measurements.

With Wompat baby carrier you can carry your baby on front belly to belly, on your back or on your hip. While carrying the baby on front, you may wear the carrier either with straight shoulder straps or you can cross the straps on your back.

The Poly shoulder straps will fit all sized parents. The length of the padded section can be adjusted between about 35-45 cm. The maximum total length of the shoulder strap is about 120 cm and the minimum length is about 44 cm.
